The NDC said the committee comprises experienced party leaders, professionals, and members of the party’s National Working Committee, reflecting its commitment to a credible and transparent screening process.
Comrade Babatunde Ali was named Deputy Chairman of the committee.
Other members include Alhaji Buba Galadima, Hon. Mohammed Sani Takori, Mr. Daniel Onifade, Mr. Ikeddy Isiguzo, Mr. Wole Adedayo, Dr. Osusu Osusu, Chief Asukewe Ikoawaji, Prof. Udenta Udenta, Barr. By setting up the screening panel, the NDC joins other political parties taking early steps to streamline their internal processes and strengthen confidence in candidate selection.
The party has recently intensified preparations for the elections through policy announcements and administrative measures aimed at broadening participation and ensuring transparency in its nomination process.
