Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer, Peller, has opened up about what he described as a disturbing and exhausting moment with his newly married wife, Jarvis, just weeks after their wedding.
Speaking during a livestream, the visibly frustrated Peller said he was struggling to enjoy the early days of his marriage, joking that the only thing currently making him happy was his G-Wagon.
According to him, he returned home around 4am after clubbing and went straight to sleep after explaining his late arrival to his wife.
But his sleep was reportedly cut short around 6am when he heard Jarvis repeatedly shouting that she was tired.
Peller said he became startled and asked his wife to move to the parlour, where the CCTV cameras could capture whatever was happening.
He eventually went back to sleep, only for Jarvis to reportedly climb onto his head and ask for a cuddle.
“E don be. Na so una dey do for here?” Peller recalled jokingly.
Although much of his narration appeared to be delivered with humour, there was an unmistakable sense of frustration in his words.
Peller went on to appeal to people to “help him beg” his wife to calm down, stressing that they had only recently gotten married.
His concern was not just about the immediate disagreement. He also referenced negative predictions some people had made about their relationship, saying he did not want their marriage to become a fulfilment of such prophecies.
“We just got married oo,” he said, asking people not to stress him or “try” him.
The situation became even more ironic when Jarvis later left the house and had not returned by the time Peller ended his livestream.
Peller said that, despite everything, he had planned to return home quickly that day because of his wife—only to discover that she was no longer around.
For a couple still adjusting to married life under the intense gaze of social media, the episode highlights a reality that often gets lost behind wedding pictures, public displays of affection and online glamour.
Marriage does not suddenly make two people perfectly compatible. It brings together different personalities, routines, expectations and emotions, and the adjustment can be challenging—especially when every disagreement becomes content for public consumption.
Peller and Jarvis have enjoyed enormous public attention since their relationship and wedding became a major talking point online. Their fans have celebrated their love story, while others have openly questioned whether their relationship would withstand the pressures that come with fame and constant public scrutiny.
For now, Peller’s latest complaint has generated another wave of reactions online, with many people urging the young couple to protect their private moments and learn to communicate away from the cameras.
After all, the wedding may be over, but the real work of marriage has only just begun.
