A tragic incident has reportedly rocked the nation’s business community following the alleged killing of prominent businessman and multi-billionaire, Chief Lucky Adimike, by his 19-year-old son at their residence in Abuja.
Chief Adimike, an indigene of Awka Etiti in Anambra State, was widely known as a leading figure in Nigeria’s electronics and importation sector, with significant influence at Alaba International Market in Lagos.
The late businessman was reputed to have built a vast business empire over several decades, earning respect and recognition among traders and industry stakeholders for his entrepreneurial success and strong presence in the market.

Sources close to the family disclosed that the tragic incident occurred at the family home in the Federal Capital Territory, where the 19-year-old son allegedly carried out the act.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the motive behind the alleged killing has yet to be determined.
Security agencies are said to have commenced investigations to establish the facts surrounding the case and unravel the events that led to the businessman’s death.
The incident has sent shockwaves through business circles and among associates of the deceased, many of whom have expressed disbelief and grief over the development.
