For the family of the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, this year’s birthday came wrapped in an unforgettable gift—one that every parent dreams of.
As friends, political associates, and admirers across Nigeria celebrated the former Ebonyi State governor on his birthday, his family had another reason to rejoice. His twins, Jeddy King Nnayelugo Umahi and Nenne Umahi, proudly graduated from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, marking a remarkable academic milestone.
The double celebration transformed an already special occasion into a memorable family moment, blending the joy of a birthday with the pride of seeing two children successfully complete their university education.
For many parents, there is no greater reward than watching years of sacrifice, guidance, and unwavering support blossom into success. For Senator Umahi, the achievement of his twins stands as a testament to the enduring value of education, discipline, and family.
The graduation also reflects a legacy that extends beyond public service. While the Minister continues to oversee critical infrastructure projects aimed at transforming Nigeria’s road network, his family quietly celebrated a different kind of nation-building—raising young people equipped with knowledge and global exposure.
Messages of congratulations have continued to pour in from friends, well-wishers, colleagues, and supporters, many describing the occasion as a fitting birthday gift and a source of inspiration for families across the country.
