When staff became concerned about Adeshina’s extended stay, the receptionist reached her by phone. She assured them she was “just resting” and would check out soon, asking them not to worry.
Later in the day, after a receptionist went to collect a power bank she had borrowed, there was no response at the door. With growing alarm, the hotel manager used an extra key card to enter — only to discover Khadi motionless in the room. She was confirmed dead on the scene.
