Popular relationship therapist and social media personality, BlessingCEO, has reportedly intervened in a domestic dispute involving a two-month pregnant woman who was allegedly being physically abused by her husband at her place of business.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred at the woman’s shop, where the husband was seen confronting and allegedly assaulting her during a heated argument. The man reportedly insisted that outsiders had no right to interfere in his family affairs and warned that if his wife left with anyone, she should not return to his house.
The woman, who appeared distressed, explained that the disagreement started after she borrowed ₦150,000 to start her small business against her husband’s wishes. She claimed her husband had warned her not to take the loan but that she went ahead because he does not provide her with financial support. She also alleged that his involvement with her family was minimal after their marriage.
BlessingCEO, who was present at the scene, stepped in to calm the situation and ensure the woman’s safety. She condemned the alleged abuse and stated that such behavior would not be tolerated, adding that the matter would be reported to the police for proper investigation.
“This is a police case. I will make sure this serves as a lesson,” BlessingCEO was quoted as saying while escorting the woman away from the scene.
Concerned members of the public have since called for authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter and ensure the safety and well-being of the pregnant woman, while also urging couples to seek peaceful means of resolving domestic disputes rather than resorting to violence.
