Former heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, was on Monday, December 29, involved in a major road accident along the Sagamu axis of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
According to reports, Joshua was traveling in a jeep when the vehicle collided with a stationary truck along the busy highway. The impact of the crash reportedly led to the death of two occupants of the jeep, while Joshua and other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Emergency responders were said to have arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, with the injured rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Sources indicate that Anthony Joshua is currently receiving medical attention and is in stable condition.
