Ebonyi State on Saturday night witnessed a vibrant and spirit-filled atmosphere as renowned gospel artistes from across Nigeria gathered for a grand night of praise and thanksgiving.
The event, described as a “sizzling and glorious night of worship,” drew hundreds of residents, worshippers, and faith leaders who converged to lift their voices in gratitude to God for His mercy, protection, and abundant grace upon the state.
Governor Francis Nwifuru, in a message following the event, said the special night of praise was inspired by a deep sense of thanksgiving, noting that Ebonyi State and its people have countless reasons to appreciate God’s faithfulness.
According to the governor, offering praises to God remains a befitting and humbling way to express gratitude for divine guidance, peace, and progress recorded in the state.
“Last night, Ebonyi State was richly blessed as gospel artistes lifted their voices in melodies of thanksgiving and worship. As a state and as a family, we are grateful to God Almighty for His mercy, protection, and abundant grace upon us,” Nwifuru stated.
He commended residents who turned out in large numbers to participate in the worship experience, describing the gathering as a powerful moment of spiritual renewal and unity.
Governor Nwifuru further expressed hope that the praises offered during the night would translate into lasting peace, unity, and increased blessings for the state and its people.
“May the praises offered rise as a sweet incense before God, bringing greater peace, unity, and blessings to Ebonyi State,” he said.
The night of praise featured powerful ministration through songs, prayers, and worship sessions led by top gospel artistes, creating an atmosphere many attendees described as uplifting and transformative.
The governor concluded by dedicating all glory to God, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to acknowledging divine guidance in the affairs of the state.
“To God alone be all the glory,” he declared.
