The unfolding marital crisis between Nigerian actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, has taken a shocking new turn following a statement allegedly released by the senator, accusing the actress of drug abuse, violent behavior, and causing destruction in his home.
In the lengthy statement titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,” Nwoko painted a disturbing picture of chaos, addiction, and marital breakdown, claiming that the 25-year-old actress’s recent actions stem from her alleged struggle with drugs and alcohol.
According to the senator, Regina Daniels’ behavior has deteriorated in recent months due to her substance use, which he described as the “root of our problem.” He alleged that Regina refused to continue with a rehabilitation program meant to help her recover, insisting that she must seek treatment either in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad in Jordan — away from environments that give her “unrestricted access to drugs.”
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” the statement reads.
Nwoko further alleged that his wife’s recent outburst turned violent when she reportedly assaulted three domestic staff within 48 hours and destroyed valuable household property, including cars and windows. He claimed that the rampage occurred while he was away, and that Regina’s drug suppliers, identified as Sammy and Ann, played a major role in fueling the chaos.
“Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting 3 staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property for no just cause,” Nwoko alleged.
He maintained that he has never been violent toward any of his wives, emphasizing that his priority has always been the well-being of his family. He stated that the actress’ erratic behavior escalated to the point of endangering others — including their son, Moon.
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she even threatened to kill our resident nurse for exposing her drug abuse,” Nwoko said.
The senator claimed that while he personally took their son to the hospital for medical care, Regina was allegedly at home “causing chaos,” aided by her supposed drug suppliers. “A scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” he added.
This revelation comes barely days after reports surfaced that Regina Daniels had moved out of her matrimonial home following alleged instances of domestic abuse — a claim that went viral on social media. The actress has not yet issued a formal response to her husband’s latest accusations.
Observers say the situation has escalated into a public relations crisis, with fans divided over who to believe. While some sympathize with the actress, others express concern over the allegations of drug abuse and erratic behavior.
Entertainment analysts suggest that the matter underscores the strain that fame, youth, and social pressure can place on celebrity marriages — especially when coupled with wealth and power dynamics.
Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, has often been in the spotlight for his polygamous lifestyle. His marriage to Regina Daniels in 2019 stirred nationwide debate due to their significant age difference.
As the controversy deepens, there are growing calls from the public and women’s groups for both parties to seek professional help and avoid further public confrontations.
For now, the marriage between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko appears to be on the brink of collapse, with accusations, counteraccusations, and a growing media frenzy overshadowing the once-celebrated union. Whether the couple can reconcile — or whether this marks the end of their relationship — remains to be seen.
