Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has welcomed a new baby with his first wife, just days after he was earlier arrested following a clash involving one of his wives, Ashabi Simple.
Sources disclosed that the incident occurred during a heated confrontation which reportedly escalated, leading to the alleged assault of a police officer who intervened in the situation. Portable was subsequently taken into custody for questioning before being released on bail, pending further investigation by the police.
The development comes as fans and followers flooded social media with mixed reactions, congratulating the singer on the birth of his child while also expressing concern over his frequent run-ins with law enforcement.
