The Bayelsa State Government has announced the release of the admission list for students who sat for the Government Science and Technical Colleges (GSTC) Entrance Examination into Tech-1, Tech-2 and Tech-3 for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a special announcement issued on behalf of the Ministry of Education, through Mr. Simon-Peter, Okene, the Permanent Secretary, parents and guardians were informed that the list covers candidates who applied to GSTC Swali, Ayamasa, Ofoni and Sampou.
According to the statement, parents and guardians are advised to check the admission status of their children or wards at their respective examination centres or at the Office of the Directorate for Education Inspection and Policy Services, Education House, Ovom, Yenagoa.
The ministry also disclosed that the admission list has been uploaded online and is accessible via the ANCOPPS Principals’ Platform, Bayelsa State Chapter. School principals have therefore been directed to check their official WhatsApp platform to confirm the admission status of candidates from their respective schools.
The government emphasized that the admissions offered are provisional and strictly limited to candidates whose names appear on the released list.
The announcement was signed by the Permanent Secretary, Bayelsa State Ministry of Education, Mr. Simon-Peter Okene, who urged parents, guardians and school administrators to promptly verify admission details to ensure a smooth enrollment process for the new academic session.
