Abakaliki – Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has commended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as “creditable” across all sectors of governance.
The Governor made the remarks while receiving the leadership of the Grassroot Advocacy for Tinubu, led by founder Mrs. Hanmo Akume, at the Ebonyi State Government House.
Governor Nwifuru highlighted the President’s performance amid national economic and security challenges, saying Tinubu has demonstrated both courage and competence. He further urged the group to intensify efforts in educating the grassroots on the President’s achievements to garner support for his re-election in 2027.
“I am happy with this initiative of mobilizing support for our President because he has done very well. The positive changes the President has brought are enormous and visible across all sectors,” the Governor said. “Therefore, I urge you to intensify efforts to keep the grassroots abreast of these monumental achievements and the need to lend their support for his re-election.”
The Governor also emphasized that every state, including Ebonyi, has benefited from federal government projects under Tinubu’s administration. “Before the emergence of President Tinubu, there were no federal government projects in Ebonyi State, but now we have been remembered with numerous projects and appointments,” he added, assuring that the President and the All Progressives Congress (APC) would enjoy overwhelming support in the forthcoming election.
Earlier, the Director-General of the Grassroot Advocacy Forum, Prof. Ochugudu Achoda, explained that the group was in Ebonyi for the inauguration of its South-East chapter. He noted that the primary goal of the forum is to mobilize grassroots support for President Tinubu, clarify misconceptions, and engage youth and women in understanding the administration’s progress since 2023.
Prof. Achoda also commended Governor Nwifuru for initiating projects that directly impact the lives of Ebonyi residents and align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
