American rapper and business mogul, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, has reportedly removed his first son, Marquise Jackson, from his will, citing laziness and a lack of ambition. The 48-year-old entertainer said he plans to leave all his wealth to his younger son, Sire Jackson, whom he described as “more responsible and focused.”
According to reports, 50 Cent expressed disappointment that his 27-year-old son, Marquise, continues to depend on him financially instead of working hard to build his own legacy. The rapper reportedly said Marquise still asks for child support and complains about receiving only $6,700 (about ₦10 million) monthly since he turned 18, despite being an adult.
“Marquise doesn’t want to work. He feels entitled because he’s 50 Cent’s son,” the rapper was quoted as saying. “Sire, on the other hand, understands value, discipline, and responsibility — that’s who I’m building my empire for.”
Marquise has publicly criticized his father several times over the years, accusing him of neglect and stinginess. However, 50 Cent has often fired back, insisting that his son’s sense of entitlement is the real issue.
The father-son feud, which has spanned nearly a decade, continues to stir reactions among fans, with many urging both to reconcile. For now, though, 50 Cent seems firm in his decision — his fortune, he says, will go entirely to Sire.
